updating a blog can sometimes be hard, but starting today, I'm going to get better. Fall is such an inspiration for so many reasons. I could never leave the midwest, there is just way too much beauty to take in during the Fall. I've been able to get my hands on some cute fall sweaters.

I'm in love with the one with the three sailors and the ducky one has been hanging around far too long. I rarely find boy sweaters that I like, but these three just jumped right out at me. All are in or going to be in the shop

 Not exactly the same, but when I put these two little dresses side by side, I just thought they looked cute together.  Both would be great for fall paired with a little cardigan and some boots.  Fall is almost here, time to layer up.

These three have been hanging around too long.  That little mock turtleneck is just right for under some bib overalls.  The Health-Tex sweater is soft velour and would be darling with some bright colored cords.  I especially love the duckie sweater.

I used to love going to my grandma BB's house and "thrifting".  She had a whole upstairs that was a full blown time capsule.  She never threw away anything in a good and bad way.  There was a lot of junk, but there were also some major treasures.  I always made sure that I asked her if I could take something, but of course she always said yes.  I  recently went back to stay with my mom for a few days.  I had a chance to look through some boxes collecting dust in the basement.  I was looking for my old college boxes from the last time I moved out, but no such luck.  But what I did find was pretty awesome.  

There we so many lovely things.  I've been wanting the tinkerbell lamp for awhile now, but never had a way to take it home.  I drove down this year, so I loaded up on everything I could. The dishes at the top are part of a set that had a bunch of miss matched dishes.  Some could be saved, others were just to damaged.  I thought these made cute flower vases.

Another view of the lamp * a little bedside lamp in need of a shade.  The clock is a little note holder, it opens up to reveal a note pad and pencil.  * I thought the dishes were pyrex, but it turns out they are "made in France" that was all the info I could find on them.

Here are the dishes, see what I mean, they are all over the place.  I'm going to sell them as a lot in my etsy store, but everything else is staying with me.
